2019 Crush and Brisk Blanc de Noirs
Crush and Brisk is the brain child of John and Frances. Both long time lovers of wine, particularly a passion for the complexity of Blanc de Noirs. This is their first deep dive into the world of production, enlisting the help of Blackbook as their collaborator. Crush and Brisk’s core focus is creating ethereal and quality driven sparkling wines.
The 2019 pinot noir grapes were sourced from Shotley vineyard, nestled in the protected Shotley peninsula of the Suffolk coast. The grapes were whole bunch pressed, settled overnight, and fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks for a period of 8 months. The wine was bottled and aged on lees in bottle for a minimum of 4 years.
